Family Camp, by Andrew Hansford.
May camp, its lots of fun,
Food and joy for everyone,
Flag high up in the sky,
While were on earth eating pie.
At Wellington, Country Park,
We all had really quite a lark,
Rain and mud, we stuck it out,
There wasnt even a scout about.
A hospital visit, for Unc Jon,
What was it, that he did wrong,
Roller Boller, was good fun,
Until he landed on his hut hum.
Wallingford is a good place to go,
And everyone watches Martins show,
Glow balls and, clubs of fire,
Uncle Arthurs rockets going even higher.
Flagship Tisiphone with accompanying boat(s),
When the wind drops shes left helplessly afloat,
Dad to he rescue with his flashing light,
Gave us all, quite a fright.
Banana, banana mango,
Five cousins all in a row,
All ending in a silly stance,
This is what we call The Fruit Dance
A hospital visit once again,
This time its cricket we have to blame,
Dad heard a crack and fell on the floor,
Will we visit Poole Harbour once More?
May camp its lots of fun,
Food and joy for everyone.
