THE NEW BANNER

In 2008 we filled the last section on the tails of the old banner and decided it was time to replace it. Every one was challenged to produce a design for a feather banner height 4.5m with large bold graphics suitable for applique work.
The only design was submitted by Andrew and this was so good every one approved of it. Some boxes were added to the bottom where it was hoped to sew "Patches" from the various locations for each year. These have proved very difficult to find.
The top is blue that depicts the sky we would like to see on camp with 2 crescent kites, whilst the lower part is in aqua for water or grass.
In the centre is a tent with it's reflection in the water or is it a canoe heading to the sunset?
At the bottom is the camp-fire/ Bar-B-Q which is so much part of our camps
The banner was made by Arthur and we hope it will be used for many years to come.
